ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove

Went for the bbq on yacht @ ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove, which was invited by my colleagues.

It was a private bbq function and it was an interesting experiences to see whats like inside a yacht. To my surprise, there was alot of rooms and very comfortable.

The highlight of the night, have got to be sending S home and I being the driver. I was alittle surprised to learn that she is leaving the company. Anyway, we shared some good laughs as I shared with her what happened at Bintan clubmed. I was attentive too. I noticed she was adjusting the air con ventilation to face away from her, so I asked if she feels cold. When she said yes, I turn up the air con temperate level of the car.
Sigh so unfortunate that she is straight!!!!???!!!

Fun @ clubmed

It was a 2D1N teambuilding and project update @ clubmed... Subsequently it was free and easy to enjoy the facilities... Unfortunatly I didnt get to try the sport that I would like to ... "Sailing", however I did get to learn and try at the Flying trapeze. I am by nature have controlled fear of height and I am really not flexible, hence I was really not convinced that I could actually do it and I didnt want to participate the actual thing. I kept thinking "oh no, I dont have the strength to hold myself long enough to do the little stunt"... However, due to "peer pressure" from my colleagues, I had to bite my teeth and go on with it. I was shaking even as I climb up the ladder. I was visibly shaken ( I watched the video recorded by one of the manager! ) and took a long time to dare to take the leap. And before I could react much, I had taken the plunge and was still holding on to the bar. I wait for the instruction to perform the stunt, I didnt make it the first time, and I was glad that I still managed to hold on to have a second try. At the second try, I could feel my legs were able to lift high enough to my chest and I could hear "encouraging" cheers and claps from the crowd and my colleagues and the next thing I know, I had executed the basic "stunt"!! :) I knew its a basic and simple stunt for beginners, given my age and my inflexiblity, I was really happy that my colleagues had encouraged me to think positive, dont be bothered by the result and just have fun. http://www.clubmed.com.sg/bintan/leisure_circus.php

Garuda Vivocity

Had lunch with colleagues at Vivocity ( again another expensive lunch ) at Garuda ( Tung Lok group of restaurants )...

It was not too bad, but rather steep pricing considering its malay food and the decoration is not as elaborated as the other Tung Lok Groups of restaurants...

Nonetheless, it was nice lunch.

I send an email to my division head last night whom I am working together in the same project, about my wish to "cross over" to another module. She took time to talk to me and explain her rational of placing me in the same team and what she would intend for me. She briefly shared because of the lack of appropriate personnel and I am only "most experienced" therefore she need me to continue in the current module.
I am aware not to be over demanding so I agree to her explanation at the same time, I must remember to manage my emotion at work to continue to outshine again in the next review...
