Should have just walked past

Run into 'J' whom I have not contacted nor was I contacted by for years.

My immediate reaction was to say hello and exchange greetings. However, after the short exchange of greetings, I thought about about the body language and facial expression, I cant help but to wonder that the person probably didnt want to even want to say much.

Anyway whatever happened in the past... is the past.
